Description
CareStar an established leader in the home and community-based healthcare industry in Ohio and Indiana is looking for an INTAKE and ELIGIBILITY SPECIALIST to conduct program assessments for the Ohio Home Care Programs and makes recommendations for eligibility determinations to the Department of Job and Family Services. The Intake and Eligibility Specialist is a home based position.
Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge and experience:
* Active License as RN, LSW or LISW
* Effective oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
* Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, home health care and Ohio Home Care waiver programs a plus.
* Exercise independent judgment and decision-making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
* Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance as required by state law.
