LEAD INTERVIEWER

CareStar, Inc. is accepting applicants for a Lead Interviewer. The Lead Interviewer is responsible for conducting virtual, remote or in-person, face-to-face interviews related to the National Core Indicators Surveys.

 

THE POSITION

CareStar is looking for a motivated individual who:

  • Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
  • Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
  • Follows the Acceptable Use Policy, while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
  • Conducts in-person or virtual, face-to-face interviews for the Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities of the National Core Indicators Survey.
  • Travels to an agreed-upon location to conduct interviews to collect survey information per training guidelines.
  • Appropriately documents answers to survey questions and either enters the data in an electronic client database or prepares the data for entry.
  • Attends orientation, trainings, and in-services for proper implementation of the survey techniques and processes.
  • Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Possesses an Associate’s Degree in Education, Developmental Disabilities, Social or Human Services or health-related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in advocating for the developmental disabilities’ community and/or work in the area of self-advocacy. Experience with ID/DD individuals may be work-related or through a familial/friendship connection.
  • Demonstrates strong attention-to-detail.
  • Possesses effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with respect for others, including, but not limited to, survey respondents, co-workers and other professionals within a diverse work environment.
  • Possesses computer skills sufficient to enter information electronically into an established database, to use CareStar’s website and email and to demonstrate familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by State law.
