Clinical Supervisor- Indiana A&D/TBI

CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor- A&D/TBI in the Operations Department to guide, support and evaluate the case manager's individual efforts by focusing on ongoing clinical and compliance issues, staff development, concurrent clinical review and assistance to Case Managers with both daily caseload and crisis management.


THE POSITION

CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who/to:

  • Directly supervise, manage and oversee staff, including hiring, firing and providing performance evaluations, including and individual development goals and objectives.
  • Provide services to consumers as necessary to assist the clinical team.
  • Educate, counsel, evaluate and manage performance of the team.
  • Maintain/update knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and program specific administered waivers.
  • Coordinates assignment of the clinical team to consumers.
  • Possesses an active license as a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker or Registered Nurse OR a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Social Services or related field.
  • Possesses 36 months experience in home and community-based service environment within the past 10 years. Direct service experience with the A&D/TBI Program, as well as assessment, care plan development and monitoring preferred.
  • Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
  • Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
  • Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.


THE LOCATION

This position is open in Indiana and must be prepared to travel across the state as needed. However, there is no restriction as to where in or around Indiana the successful candidate lives.
