Regional Supervisor- Baltimore and Surrounding Counties

CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Regional Supervisor in the Quality Improvement Department to coordinate reviews, facilitate regional involvement and communication with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, families and Providers.  

THE POSITION

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site reviews.
• Facilitate regional involvement and communication with individuals with ID/DD, families and Providers.
• Implement Regional QE activities and training.
• Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
• Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.

Job Qualifications

• A master’s degree and four (4) years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
• At least one (1) year of experience must be in a supervisory or management position.  
• Have specific experience in designing, implementing, and supervising the delivery of programs and services for persons with developmental disabilities in areas such as supported living, coordination of community services, Supported Employment, or residential services.
• Regional Supervisors must work in the appropriate Maryland regional office.
• Regional Supervisors must be available to Regional and State staff during Normal State Business Hours.

THE LOCATION

This position is open in Baltimore County and is responsible for covering the surrounding counties.
