Quality Improvement Manager - Maryland: Rare and Expensive Case Management

CareStar is bidding to be a Statewide Case Management Services Provider to Individuals who qualify for the Rare and Expensive Case Management (REM) Program through the Maryland Department of Health. CareStar is an established leader in the home and community-based healthcare industry and is looking for a Quality Improvement Manager to develop and implement continuous quality improvement activities across the REM Program.

Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge and experience:
- Active License as RN, LSW or LISW.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or health-related field.
- Minimum five (5) years program management, quality improvement, Case Manager or utilization review, preferably in a health or social work setting.
- Experience with continuous quality improvement principles, data analysis and basic statistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The position is open in Maryland and is responsible for covering the state.
