CareStar, Inc is looking for a Senior Technical Support Specialist to provide basic to advanced support in all areas pertaining to hardware, software, remote access and telecommunication issues to successfully support business needs. Will be responsible to analyze, consult, recommend and implement solutions to meet business objectives. 

THE POSITION

CareStar is looking for a motivated individual who/to:

  • Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
  • Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
  • Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar.
  • Provide and guide appropriate technical assistance to end users to address identified and unidentified concerns in a manner which supports the current technology plans, as well as current business needs and objectives.
  • Pull and analyze data/information to generate reports and develop, recommend and implement solutions to address end user concerns, meet business needs and improve business efficiency.
    Prioritize department needs to meet objectives.  Develop and maintain project plans to meet scope and deadline requirements.
  • Document, track, and manage the HITRUST controls used by the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology; 2-4 years related work experience.
  • At least one industry certification (Security+, CISSP, OSCP, HCISPP, CCSP, or MCSA)
  • Effective communication, both written and oral and the ability to build strong working relationships with co-workers, customers and vendors.
  • Understanding and demonstrated knowledge of computer/laptop imaging process.
  • Advanced knowledge, understanding and experience installing and troubleshooting printers, scanners, multi-functional devices and copy machines.
  • Understanding and demonstrated knowledge of how to counter cyber-attacks and conduct incident response.
  • Understanding, knowledge and experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks, VPN connections, routers and switches.
  • Ability to work independently, show effective independent judgment and decision-making while taking the initiative to identify and resolve problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft's suite of cloud-based programs, as well as Azure Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance as required by State law.
